We deem high quality as the priority for the development of our business.  Flexible ventilation ducting are used in very harsh environment.  With more than 40 years’ experience and expertise in design and manufacturing all kinds of ventilation duct, we are capable of offering high quality products with our clients around the world. 

We have strict quality control in the process of manufacturing. We have a series of tests to guarantee for every batch of production, its quality meets high standards and meets the requirements of end users.   

Our testing includes weight, tensile strength, tearing strength, burning test, anti-cold test  and so on.  

Tensile  Strength  Testing 

We do tensile strength tests according to DIN53354 Standard or ASTM Standard, or ISO Standard or GB Standard.

For every roll of fabric, we will take a piece of fabric as the sample to undergo the tensile strength test.  We have advanced numerical control tension machine to test the grad tensile strength of fabric in-house. 

Tearing Strength 

For ventilation ducting, it is very easy to be scratched in the application.  It is very vital for the fabric to have superior tearing strength. With good tearing strength, a small hole on ducting can not be enlarged to become a big hole in short time. 

We have advanced numerical control tension machine to test the tearing strength of fabric in-house.  For every batch of production, we perform tearing strength randomly.

Flame Retardant Test 

Flexible ventilation ducting are used in underground mining and tunnels.  The ducting should be flame retardant and self-extinguishing. Even if there is a fire in the UG worksite, with flame retardant property, the fire will not spread in short time.  

For every roll of fabric, we will take a piece of fabric randomly as the sample to undergo the burning test.  We perform the test in the flame chamber to measure the flammability of the fabric when it is exposed to specific sources of ignition.

Anti-cold Test 

Flexible ventilation ducting will be used in very harsh environment, sometimes in very chilly environment.  Thus the fabric should keep soft and flexible even under very low temperature.  

According to the DIN, ASTM, GB Standards, the test method evaluates the appearance and function of fabric sample in the low-temperature chamber to withstand a selected bend under —40 celsius temperature.

Finished Duct Quality Inspection 

After the ventilation ducts are finished, our quality inspector will conduct random inspections on the appearance, welding seam, suspension seam, coupling place and tightness of grommets. If every aspect can meet Newstar Inspection Standards, then we can make the packing and delivery of goods. If not, we will inspect the quality of every piece of ventilation duct one by one.

We also support third party inspection of goods.
